Trailers and Sizzles
- I have been mixing cinematic trailers and sizzles in 5.1 / 7.1 and DolbyATMOS for over 25years and well know to the trailer creative agencies and film studios .
Over 80 DolbyATMOS and 100's of 5.1/7.1 trailers completed
- I can now offer trailer and sizzle premixing to the highest standard at reasonable cost .
- The studio is ATMOS enabled for a premix that can be taken to a bigger ATMOS Stage for final mixing and mastering with all ATMOS location panning done .
- I can also supply the audio files needed for making a DCP master for any 5.1/7.1 trailer / sizzle where no client attendance is needed ( can be approved from an MP4 stereo fold-down or live stereo stream )
- I collaborate with central London film post studios for client attended mixes .
- 5.1 and Stereo splits and a stereo down mix is provided as part of a standard international deliverables package as well as a Protools DolbyATMOS dubbing master
- I also specialise in stereo TV and online mixes for trailer TV spots and socials
DCM / UK Cinema Mixes
- I have been cinema mixing for commercials in the UK and Internationally for over 25 years and am highly recognised in this sector , providing cinema mixes ready for DCM , QC'd through their quality control gateway 4Cine.
- This can be for local advertising where you may only have a stereo mix or minimal stems or a complex cinema mix where multiple stems or Protools session are available
- I can also take an approved 5.1 mix and QC , then render that to the correct level and specification for UK
- Where no stems are available , I can use the latest AI tech to up-mix a stereo mix so it complies with standards . This is not ideal but can be done as a last resort
- I collaborate with central London post studios for client attended DolbyATMOS and 5.1mixes.
- I can output cinema mixes for any territory in 5.1/7.1 /DolbyATMOS
- 5.1 Cinema fixed price packages including 4Cine/ DCM upload start at £300 for a basic mix , then £500 / £750 dependant on the stems or Protools session
- Dolby ATMOS mixes for DCM commercials including upload start at £1450 inclusive and final mix is done at WAVE London

Last year I was awarded the DCM award for best contribution to cinema for my many years mixing cinema commercials and pushing the latest technologies. They also awarded best innovation in cinema for my Dolby ATMOS mixes for Netflix / Man VS Bee cinema commercials
DolbyATMOS - Home ATMOS and Dolby Music
I can mix in Dolby HE - Home ATMOS and provide a final ADM file for supply to steaming services for any content
Apple Spacial Music - I take the music stems and mix them in DolbyATMOS and use the Dolby album compiler to render out the final master ADM files at the correct level for Apple
Technical
Stereo / 5.1 / 7.1 / Dolby ATMOS
- AVID MTRX Studio , Latest model with Thunderbolt
- Latest version of Protools as well as Nuendo
- Monitoring comprises of DynAudio Core 47's as my LCR and JBL's for the cinema 5.1/7.1 surrounds along with active DynAudio's at ear height for Atmos music mixing . The 7.1.4 ATMOS system also 4 x active DynAudio's in the ceiling. Line up is done using Sonarworks Multichannel
- JBL studio sub
- Various other speaker sources include small genelecs, TV sound bar and a ultra small radio for checking back online mixes as well as being able to live stream to a mobile phone for checking back socials
- Black magic streamer for picture in picture zoom calls with high quality audio for approvals, including live stereo down-mixing of 5.1 / 7.1 mixes
- Latest Noise reduction AI plugins for cleaning up dialog
- Immersive audio plug ins for up-mixing stereo to various multichannel formats
